Stop Working on Your Business and Start Working in It

Every day I meet more and more entrepreneurs who want to grow their business. They are editing the website, updating the pitch deck, getting feedback on a logo, scheduling social media and more tasks that are all about working ON the business. Then they spend a lot less time working IN the business.

Working in the business is talking to customers, making sales, closing deals, getting feedback, going to events, etc.

Working on the business is doing the website, getting a coach, developing processes, etc. You can’t grow your business unless you’re working in the business or have someone who can work in the business while you work on it. You should be at least 80% in business and 20% on the business. Any less on the business is business suicide.

Stop killing your business, get to work!
