Stupid Genius

In today’s adventures of “everything is figureoutable”, I was tasked with cross-checking a list of over 10,000 tabs with a second list to compare 145 similarities. This is a 10-hour task when you place the lists side by side, but a 20-minute task when you ask yourself, “How can I do this quicker? Who has to do something like this daily? Would accountants sit and do this every day?” Nope, they wouldn’t.

After a few google searches and some Youtube videos, this tedious and energy stealing problem was now solved. I executed my findings in 5 minutes.

Total research, learning and work time: 1 hr 2 minutes.

Now, what the heck will I do for the rest of the workday? First, write this blog post. Then stare into space as the time ticks on.

Good job, you stupid genius.
