The Entrepreneurial Urge to burn it all down

I processed this tweet in two ways.

1st: As an entrepreneur, I constantly feel the urge to burn down old systems and launch new ones. aka the core of entrepreneurship.

2nd: Being an entrepreneur is such a daily rollercoaster. I literally quit at least once a day.

Truth time? Being an entrepreneur is not for the faint of heart. There WILL be days that it will be magical. Literally, you can’t even believe it days.

Then other days you’re just like “F*ck this I’m going to work at McDonalds and mind my business”.

The key to managing these massive fluctuations and not getting burnt out or burning it all down is to prioritize your mental health.
For years I ignored my mental health when it came to my role as an entrepreneur which led me to suffer from severe anxiety and depression directly connected to the ups and downs in my business.

I’ve written about this in my book, talked about this on my podcast, and I share it every chance I get because this stuff gets real!

How do you manage your mental health?

P.s you don’t have to be an entrepreneur to reply.
