The Art of Getting Shit Done

Finally, it’s DONE!

What started in 2016 after the first Summit was finally completed 2 years later in 2018 after the 3rd Summit.

There are a few key things to mention about this journey.

When I started writing my book I was 21yrs old. When I finished writing I 23yrs old and the book was officially published shortly after my 24th birthday.

In between starting and finishing the book my life was jam-packed with adventures and misadventures. I moved 4times from Newark, NJ to Port Jervis NY, to Freeport, NY to Stockbridge GA, where I completed the book. My startup Illicit Mind Shut down. I graduated from college. I worked with many great companies such as Girls who Code and CUNY start-ups.

I had learned and evolved so much from the time I started to when I finished the book.

Completing the book was a bittersweet experience because now this thing that I had been working on had come to an end. I was going to miss the journey. But I knew that I didn’t want things to just end here. Although a part of my story was chronicled in my book, this was THE END of MY STORY.

Just as I felt the urge years before to write, I felt another urge and this one said… keep going. Keep sharing.

Little did I know my life was about to completely change…again.
