Mariella Paulino Founder of Project Hearing @ProjectHearing

Mariella Paulino is a dreamer, thinker, and doer! She creates systems and tools that center on helping people interact better with the world around them, especially those with disabilities.  She has worked in government, nonprofits, education, and everything else in between vacillating between project, data, and community management. In 2014 she launched her company, Project Hearing, which created bumper stickers that say “Deaf Driver” after a dreadful experience with the police where her deafness was interpreted as non-compliance.  Since then, her work has expanded to include workshops, private consulting for individuals and businesses, and community building projects that create innovation within the community of people with disabilities.
