Being an entrepreneur is a rollercoaster ride. One minute you and your business are on top, getting sales, clients, and opportunities. Then the next minute, you are strapped for cash and unsure if the business will live to see another day. Believe it or not, all of this could happen in the same week.
Entrepreneurs realize and understand these risks, but regular people often don’t. There is this huge pressure to be on one side of the entrepreneur spectrum. It’s either you’re on the great, amazing and millionaire side or the failed, unsuccessful and broke side.
When the truth is, most entrepreneurs are floating in the middle of this spectrum.
Let’s unpack this.
I have been an entrepreneur for over 5 years, and along the way, I’ve cashed 5 figure checks and also went to bed hungry with -4 figure account balances. So which part of the spectrum would I be on?
The reality is entrepreneurship is not easy.
Let’s stop feeling the need to deem people successful or unsuccessful. In reality, it is up to you and yourself to decide what success looks like.
Respect the spectrum
